Partly. ElevenLabs' speech models don't really sing: the newest, Eleven v4, has no singing tag, and the older Eleven v3 lists only an experimental [sings] tag, with no control over the melody. Eleven Music, and the ElevenMusic app built on it, generates new songs with sung vocals, and since July 22, 2026 its Voice-to-Song tool turns one recording of your voice into an original track in your voice. What none of them does is take a song that already exists and give it back sung in your voice. That is the one job Tera Studio does: sing for about a minute (2 minutes sounds more like you), add the song, and hear it in your voice over the original music, with your first 2 songs free. Try it with your voice.

| ElevenLabs product | Can it sing? | Your own voice | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Text to speech (Eleven v4, and the older v3) | Not really: v4's audio tag list has no singing tag; v3 lists an experimental [sings] tag that ElevenLabs says may be less consistent across voices | Instant Voice Cloning from 1 to 2 minutes of audio (Starter and up); Professional Voice Cloning from 30+ minutes (Creator and up) | Free: 10,000 credits a month. Starter $6, Creator $22 |
| Eleven Music | Yes: new songs with vocals from a text prompt, up to 5 minutes, in many languages | An uploaded audio reference of about 30 seconds guides the style only; ElevenLabs says it doesn't copy or remix it | 900 credits per minute of music, from the same credits |
| ElevenMusic app | Yes: new songs from a lyric, mood, loop or voice recording | Voice-to-Song turns one recording of your voice into an original track; "Vocals" keeps a consistent voice across new songs, made from your tracks: 1 custom vocal free, 5 on Pro | Free: 25 songs and 5 downloads a day. Pro $9.99 a month ($7.99 billed yearly) |
| Voice Changer | Converts recorded audio into another voice, keeping the performance; ElevenLabs describes it for speech, such as narration and characters | Works with a cloned voice | 1,000 credits per minute, up to 5 minutes per piece |
So to hear an existing song in your own voice with ElevenLabs, you would have to build it yourself: get the vocal out of the song with another tool, run it through Voice Changer with a clone of your voice, and mix it back over the music. ElevenMusic screens every uploaded voice and music sample for copyright, and Voice-to-Song generates a new composition rather than re-singing yours.
ElevenLabs also runs an Iconic Marketplace that licenses AI voices of famous figures through their rights holders. Tera Studio has no famous voices: every song is sung in the voice of the person who recorded it, and that voice stays locked to their account.

A Tera Studio example: the same lines, first sung by the original singer, then converted into a different person's voice, used with their permission.
The melody, words, timing and breaths are the original singer's; only the voice is different. Excerpt from Love & Remember by SackJo22, CC BY 3.0, trimmed, made mono and matched for volume, with no other enhancement. In the app, the voice goes back over the song's original music.
Pick ElevenLabs if…
- you need speech: narration, voiceovers, dubbing or characters;
- you want a brand-new song, with lyrics you write or a style you describe, and commercial use of it;
- you want one credit balance across speech, music and sound effects.
Pick Tera Studio if…
- the song already exists, and you want to hear it sung by you;
- you'd rather sing for a minute than prepare a voice clone, take the voice out of a song and mix it back;
- you want to hear whole songs free before paying.
Try it with your own voice
- Add the song. An MP3, M4A or WAV with one clear lead singer, up to 20 minutes. Use all of it, or tap Choose a part for up to 5 minutes.
- Sing for a minute or two. Record on the page or upload a recording. Sing anything you know; it doesn't have to be the same song or language.
- Save and listen. Tick This is my own voice and tap Save my song. The first song takes about 20 minutes because your voice is learned first; later songs are faster.
