The short answer: both are voice-conversion tools for people who make music, and both train a model of your own voice on a paid plan. Audimee costs less per song. Its Starter plan is $12 a month for 1 custom voice and 1 hour of conversions, about $0.80 for a 4-minute song, and it adds a harmony maker. Kits AI gives you more voices and tools. Its Starter plan is $10 a month for 2 custom voices but 15 download minutes, about $3.33 a song, and its higher plans add unlimited voices, AI mastering and a desktop app. Neither free plan has a slot for your own voice. We make Tera Studio, a third option if you only want to hear whole songs in your own voice: about a minute of singing, and 2 songs free. Every fact here was checked on each company's own pages on October 28, 2026.

Key takeaways

  • Cheaper per song: Audimee, about $0.80 for a 4-minute song on Starter against about $3.33 on Kits AI, billed monthly. Billed yearly, it's $0.60 against $2.67.
  • More voices: Kits AI, with 2 on Starter and unlimited from Producer, $30 a month. Audimee has 1 on Starter, 3 on Pro ($25) and 8 on Ultimate ($49).
  • Less singing to train: Audimee trains on 1 to 30 minutes of vocals. Kits AI's instant clone takes 30 seconds, but its highest-quality clone needs 15 to 30 minutes of dry vocals and a few hours of training.
  • Free: neither free plan has a custom voice slot. Kits AI's free plan has no downloads. Audimee's downloads MP3s for personal use.
  • Your own voice on a whole song, free: Tera Studio, 2 songs up to 4 minutes each, no card.

Where Kits AI wins

  • More voices for the money: 2 custom voices on Starter, and unlimited from Producer.
  • A fast first clone: an instant clone from about 30 seconds of dry vocals, on every paid plan.
  • A wider production kit: AI mastering, a choir tool, a vocal remover, an instrument library and a desktop app.
  • Cheaper yearly entry: Starter is $8 a month billed yearly ($96).

Where Audimee wins

  • Cost per song: 1 hour of conversions on Starter covers about 15 four-minute songs. Kits AI Starter's 15 download minutes cover about 3.
  • Harmonies: it turns one take into up to 5 harmony tracks, and its pitch editor fixes the melody before you convert.
  • Training data: it trains a voice on as little as 1 minute of vocals (its page says 1 to 30 minutes).
  • A free plan you can download from: MP3s for personal use, where Kits AI's free plan has 0 download minutes.

What we didn't test

We didn't pay for either app, so we haven't trained a voice in them or compared how alike the results sound. Neither free plan trains your own voice. You can still try each one's library voices on your own recording before paying. Both are built for people who mix the result themselves: each comes with tools to split a song into vocals and music.

Where Tera Studio fits

We make Tera Studio. It does one job: you sing about a minute (2 minutes sounds more like you), add a normal song file with its music, and it sings that song back in your voice over the original music. There are no dry studio takes, stems or mixing. In October 2026, a first song took a median 14.8 minutes, because your voice is learned first. Later songs with the saved voice took a median 0.8 minutes. It only trains your own voice, or one you have permission to use.

It isn't the cheapest. At $8.99 a month for 30 finished minutes, a 4-minute song costs about $1.28, more than on Audimee. It has no library voices, harmonies or mastering, and no desktop or App Store app: it runs in the browser on phones and computers. Hear a song in your own voice.

Current price and limits

Every new Tera Studio account can make and hear 2 whole songs free, once per account. Each can be up to 4 minutes, there's no card, and downloads need a plan.

  • Starter: $8.99 a month for 30 finished minutes, or $89.99 a year.
  • Creator: $19.99 a month for 90 minutes, or $189.99 a year.
  • Both include: one private voice, WAV and song-card video downloads, one guided correction per song and free re-downloads.
