How do I make a karaoke version of a song?
Choose the song and press Remove the voice. The music only result is your karaoke version: the singer is gone and the music stays.
What is the difference between music only and vocals only?
The vocal remover gives you both. Music only is the song without the singer, for karaoke and practice. Vocals only is just the singer, without the music.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install.
How long can the song be?
Up to 10 minutes with a free account, and up to 20 minutes with a plan.
Is my song private?
Yes. Only you can play your results, and they are deleted after 3 days. We never share your songs.
Can I hear the song in my own voice?
Yes, that is what Tera Studio is for: sing along once and Tera turns your voice into the whole song. Your first 2 songs are free to make and hear.
Can I use a YouTube link?
No. Choose a song or video file from your phone or computer. The tool can’t open YouTube, Spotify or other links.
Can I use a video?
Yes. Choose an MP4, MOV or WebM file and we use its sound. The results are audio.
Is it AI?
Yes. An AI model trained to tell voices from instruments makes the split on our GPU servers. That’s why it needs a free account and takes about 2 minutes.
